CuseNation TV: Jones focused on return

After missing most of the season with a lower-body injury, SU RS-junior Chandler Jones is focused on getting back on the field.

Syracuse defensive end Chandler Jones watched his older brother, Arthur, rehab during his senior season after missing several games with multiple injuries in 2009.

This season, after playing in only the season opener, Chandler Jones suffered an injury that lingered. The team has held him out of game action over the last month as a result, and he spoke to his brother for guidance.

"He was talking to me everyday," he said of his brother -- now in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens.

But Jones is back on the field, practicing in limitation as the team prepares to take on Tulane Saturday. He won't play in the game, but his rehab and rest will come to an end after the team's bye week. Jones will play in the October 21 game against West Virginia, a game that will be on national television.

We spoke to Jones on Wednesday about how he has been doing, and the upbeat play-maker was as excited as ever. Recommended Stories
