CuseNation TV: 1-on-1 with Jeremiah Kobena

Jeremiah Kobena

Syracuse's offense has transitioned in the last few weeks, and the result is more speed on the field. When any mention of speed and quickness occurs, freshman Jeremiah Kobena belongs in the conversation. CuseNation.com sat down 1-on-1 with the play-maker about his development this season.

Though he is slowly getting more involved into the offense, Jeremiah Kobena continues to serve as a regular in the kick return game. He is getting touches offensively as both a runner and pass-catcher, and he told CN.com that more is on the way.

Kobena averages nearly 25 yards per kick return, good for 40th in the entire country, and he has provided good field position for the offense more times than not. He picked up a first down on a reverse and on the receiving-end of a pass from Ryan Nassib in the big win over West Virginia, proving he has come a long way from where he was at when he first stepped on campus.
