Syracuse has been very inconsistent on the defensive side of the ball, and now the unit up front will have to move on with a pair of players who served as reserves in the rotation.
On Monday, the Athletic Department announced that Eric Crume and Micah Robinson will have surgery later in the day. Crume’s procedure will be to combat a lower-body injury, while Robinson’s will be an upper-body procedure. The pair of lineman have combined for eight tackles, including one for a loss, on the season.
Expect the rotation to adjust accordingly, though it may remain limited over the last two games.
