Ameen-Moore to have Surgery Friday

As if matters could get much worse for Syracuse football, another player has been ruled out for the season.

The Syracuse Athletic Department said on Tuesday that freshman running back Adonis Ameen-Moore will have season-ending surgery on Friday.

He was injured during practice on November 17. The department said it was an upper-body issue.

Moore finishes up his initial Syracuse football capaign with 12 carries for 40 yards.

Expect Antwon Bailey and Jerome Smith to continue to carry the running load going into Saturday's regular-season finale against Pittsburgh. Recommended Stories
