Syracuse-Arkansas will play Nov. 30

Syracuse will play Arkansas in men's hoops after all, the school announced on Tuesday.

Syracuse University, despite some discomfort with its current situation in the Big East, will participate in the 2012-13 SEC/Big East challenge.

The Orange will travel to Arkansas on November 30.

The school released the following brief statement on Tuesday:

Syracuse and Arkansas will meet as part of the 2012 SEC/BIG EAST Challenge on Friday, November 30, in Fayetteville.

"We discussed our concerns regarding Syracuse's participation in the SEC/BIG EAST Challenge with the conference and have come to an agreement on the logistics of the game," said Syracuse director of athletics Dr. Daryl Gross. "The BIG EAST Conference will work with us to assist in our non-conference scheduling for the 2012-13 season." Recommended Stories
