Syracuse Visits Chris McCullough

The Syracuse coaching staff has been hitting the recruiting trail hard. One of their stops was to visit 2014 5-star forward Chris McCullough. CuseNation.com spoke to McCullough about the visit.

One of the most versatile forwards in the 2014 class, Chris McCullough has received a lot of recruiting attention. He was paid a visit by Jim Boeheim and the Syracuse coaching staff on Tuesday. McCullough spoke to CuseNation.com about the visit.

"It went regular," he said. "They watched me workout, practice, and then talked to me. They asked how I like school and just checking in on me."

McCullough said the Syracuse staff talked to him for about 20 minutes, and spent part of the time trying to convince him to come to midnight madness. Chris says he plans on attending, but it is not 100%.

He also described what the coaches watched him do during the workout.

"I did some shooting drills," McCullough explained. "Then we played during practice."

The 6-foot-9 forward also said it has become routine when a big name coach like Jim Boeheim and a school like Syracuse come visit. He is used to that type of attention.

While he does not appear to be ready to cut his list yet, he is excited about midnight madness. McCullough also said he is looking forward to hanging out with Isaiah Whitehead and Tyler Ennis.

Syracuse's midnight madness is on October 12th at 8pm.
