Quick Take: Andrew Wiggins recently made the move to the 2013 class and quickly moved to the top of the rankings. Florida State and Kentucky have done the most work, but North Carolina and Kansas are making their moves. He's going to make a decision in the spring, which gives UNC and KU plenty of time to get him on campus. There's a ways to go here. FSU and UK have to be considered the favorites, but it's too early to count out the Tar Heels or Jayhawks.
Recruiting: Florida State, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, Ohio State & Syracuse
Quick Take: Parker has taken recent official visits to Duke, Florida and Michigan State and while BYU and Stanford are still on his list, those three appear to have the best shot at landing his services. Parker's camp has said all along that he would sign in the late period and that certainly appears to be the case.
Recruiting: Duke, Florida, Michigan State, BYU & Stanford
Quick Take: Since July, Randle has taken a handful of visits. He went to Kentucky and Florida officially and also visited Texas and Oklahoma unofficially. He'll likely trip to Kansas and North Carolina State and make a decision in the spring. Randle doesn't appear to be rushing the process and is the top power forward prospect left on the board.
Recruiting: Texas, Florida, North Carolina State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky
Quick Take: After exchanging messages with Gordon's mother -- Shelly Davis -- earlier this week, it appears that the 6-foot-8 big man out of California will likely wait until the second period. Although she didn't count out an early decision, she did say he was leaning towards waiting it out. He's visited everyone on his list, including Kentucky this past weekend. The school of thought is that Arizona and Washington are on top, but when Kentucky gets last crack you never know.
Recruiting: Arizona, Washington, Kentucky, Oregon, Kansas
Quick Take: Dakari Johnson recently made the move from the 2014 class to the 2013 group. It's seems quite early for Johnson's recruitment. His plan is to make a college choice in the spring. Florida watched him workout the day after he made the decision to reclassify and Syracuse, Kentucky, Kansas, Georgetown and Ohio State are also expected to get more involved in Johnson's recruitment.
Recruiting: Syracuse, Florida, Kentucky, Georgetown, Kansas & Ohio State
Quick Take: Jermaine Lawrence's camp has been adamant that he wouldn't make his choice until the spring. Lawrence confirmed that notion on Twitter last week. The five-star forward also cut his list down to Cincinnati, Saint John's, Syracuse and UNLV. He has taken visits to Saint John's and Syracuse.
Recruiting: Cincinnati, Saint John's, Syracuse & UNLV
Quick Take: Keith Frazier has taken his fair share of visits. He's been to Arizona, Texas A&M, SMU and Arizona a few times. Despite having visited most of the schools on his list, Frazier has always planned on committing and signing in the spring. According to his mentor Stacey Houston that is still the plan. During the summer, most thought Arizona was the school to beat, but now it wouldn't surprise us to see Frazier stay closer to home.
Recruiting: Texas A&M, LSU, Texas, SMU & Arizona
Quick Take: Originally Isaac Hamilton was expected to sign in the spring, but there's been rumblings of a possible early decision. Hamilton recently visited UCLA and UTEP and both schools have done a tremendous job recruiting him. In fact, we think those schools hold an edge over the others. While it's possible, Hamilton will sign early, it's also not a definite. He's one we will be paying close attention to over the next few days.
Recruiting: UCLA, UTEP, San Diego State, Washington & Baylor
Quick Take: Kennedy Meeks has his list down to a pair of schools – Georgetown and North Carolina. The four-star big man has taken visits to both schools. Meeks has gone back and forth on whether he will sign early or late. Rumors have swirled that he may even announce on Thursday.
Recruiting: Georgetown & North Carolina
Quick Take: Although Austin, a four-star recruit, hasn't set an announcement date, he is expected to announce his college choice this week. He's down to three schools – Providence, Connecticut and Texas – and has visited all three of them. While he doesn't appear to have a public leader, it would be a surprise to us if he didn't go with one of Providence or Connecticut.
Recruiting: Providence, Connecticut & Texas
Quick Take: Anya's situation is clear. After narrowing his list to North Carolina State and Indiana a few weeks ago, the Hoosiers moved in a different direction, leaving N.C. State as the lone school in Anya's recruitment. The top 50 post player hasn't added anyone else to his list and is expected to pick North Carolina State on Friday during a team function at Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic.
Recruiting: North Carolina State
Quick Take: Tyler Roberson is one of the 2013 top 100 prospects that could decide at any moment. Roberson, a 6-foot-8 power forward, is down to Kansas, Syracuse and Villanova. He has officially visited all three and is expected to make an announcement during the initial signing period, but he hasn't set an exact time or date for his decision.
Recruiting: Kansas, Villanova & Syracuse
Quick Take: Initially, Rysheed Jordan's plan was to wait a few weeks after the first signing period and make his college choice. While that's still possible, it's also possible that Jordan speeds up his decision and makes an announcement during the signing period, which lasts until the 21st. Saint John's, Syracuse, Rutgers and Temple are the finalists.
Recruiting: Saint John's, Syracuse, Rutgers & Temple
Quick Take: It appears Stevie Clark is in limbo. He's gone back and forth on announcing his college decision in the early period. If he doesn't make his choice in the next seven days, it wouldn't surprise us to see him decide shortly after the period. Baylor, Oklahoma State, FSU, UCLA and Missouri are the main contenders for Clark, who is known as one of the best shooters in the 2013 class.
Recruiting: Baylor, Oklahoma State, Florida State, UCLA & Missouri
Quick Take: This one is tracking to be a late decision. The 6-foot-9 big man out of Florida took official visits to Clemson and Rutgers in October. Since those trips it's been fairly quiet on the Henry front. He's also looked at South Florida, South Carolina, Miami and others.
Recruiting: Clemson, Rutgers, South Florida, South Carolina & Miami
Quick Take: There hasn't been much talk about Hunter as of late. He's currently looking at a trio of schools – DePaul, Long Beach State & UTEP. Word is there may be some grade issues for Hunter, an athletic four-man. Regardless, he's a guy that is tracking for a fall signing.
Recruiting: DePaul, Long Beach State & UTEP
