Ron Patterson dreamt about playing basketball for Syracuse when he was younger. That dream became a reality on Thursday as he signed his letter of intent to officially become part of the Syracuse program just two weeks after verbally committing.
"It's real exciting," Patterson told CuseNation.com. "It's like being part of the family now."
One player who Patterson is excited about playing with is 5-star point-guard Tyler Ennis. While he's never met him, he believes they will work together well on the court.
"Nah I haven't met him," Patterson said. "I don't know much about him yet. He seems like a good player for us and a good dude on and off the court."
Once he arrives, Patterson is expecting big things. He believes his skills along with the talent already at Syracuse will lead to great things.
"Just being there in New York and playing in the best conference in basketball," Patterson declared. "I'm going to be the best player I can be. I'm going to play hard every play. We're going to tear it up."
