Syracuse became bowl eligible with a come from behind thrilling victory over Missouri. The Orange won on a late touchdown with twenty seconds left, 31-27.

Missouri came out strong scoring touchdown on its first two possessions off of long James Franklin passes. Syracuse had penalties and drops stall their drives early but did get a Ross Krautman 44-yard field goal on their first drive. The Syracuse defense adjusted and the offense stepped up as Prince Tyson-Gulley went up the middle for a short touchdown run to cut the halftime deficit to 17-10.

Syracuse tied the game as Ryan Nassib hit Alec Lemon for a 13-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. Missouri responded as Kendial Lawrence ran it in from 3-yards out to give the Tigers a 24-17 lead in the middle of the fourth quarter.

But the Orange responded right back as Nassib led a drive which ended up with a Jerome Smith 8-yard TD run to tie the game at 24. After the defense forced a 3-and-out, a Nassib pass was deflected and intercepted. The Tigers turned that into 3-points. But Nassib to Lemon led a clutch drive to give Syracuse a touchdown with 20 seconds left as the Orange became bowl eligible 31-27.

In the game, Ryan Nassib became the all-time passing yards leader in Syracuse history.
