Scott Shafer was announced as the next head coach at Syracuse University on Tuesday, and the reactions from commits and targets in the class of 2013 is already coming in. Get the latest from the prospects themselves inside...

As a source confirmed to CuseNation.com a day earlier, Syracuse University announced Scott Shafer as its next football head coach on Tuesday. The team's defensive coordinator from 2010 until this past season replaces Doug Marrone, who left SU after four seasons en route to becoming the Buffalo Bills next head man.

As one would imagine, the recruit reaction has been steady filing in to CuseNation.com, as most wonder if the Orange will hold onto its 15 current commitments for the class of 2013.

We have already spoken to several about the move, and it will all be chronicled in the premium subscriber forum, available HERE.

Other stories have been filed separately altogether, and each will be linked below as they are published.
