Cooper Chooses 'Cuse Recruiting Analyst
Posted Jan 27, 2013

A big weekend for Syracuse recruiting resulted in another commitment as Corey Cooper made his pledge to wear Orange during his collegiate career.

Syracuse hosted several prospects on campus for official visits this weekend. The prospects got to know the new staff, and some were so impressed they made their commitment before heading home. One of those prospects was Raleigh (NC) product Corey Cooper.

The 3-star wide receiver prospect announced on twitter, "I will be going to New York for college and attending Syracuse University."

Cooper is the 17th commitment in Syracuse's 2013 class, and the second receiver to choose the Orange. The 6-foot-0 receiver chose Syracuse over many offers, including Connecticut, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
