Glover-Williams Checks Out Tennessee

Eric Glover-Williams is in the process of putting together a great offer list, and the Canton McKinley athlete is one of Ohio's top 2015 prospects. Last weekend, he visited Tennessee.

Canton McKinley's Eric Glover-Williams is not only one of Ohio's most exciting players, but the quarterback might be the top prospect in-state for the class of 2015.

Glover-Williams, who will play runningback or slot receiver at the next level, already holds offers from the likes of Ohio State, Nebraska, Tennessee, Michigan State, and others. Last weekend, he visited Tennessee.

"It was a really good visit, and it was great seeing their facilities, which were excellent," Glover-Williams stated. "I got to meet with the coaching staff and saw a lot of different things, so I would say everything went great."

"They explained to me how they would use me in the system and how they're rebuilding the program at Tennessee," he added. "They're an SEC program, and that's the best football, so I'm definitely interested. They have committed a lot of money to even adding to the facility, which will be unbelievable."

With Butch Jones only accepting the Tennessee head coaching job recently, this was the first time for Glover-Williams to meet with him and his staff.

"I had never met them before when they were at Cincinnati, so this was good to be able to sit down with those guys," he explained. "Coach Jones seems like a great guy, and I enjoyed getting to know him. I felt comfortable with the staff and players, and I'm planning on going back in the spring."

Tennessee will not be the only school Glover-Williams will visit in the coming months, as he will try to check several other programs if possible.

"I'm coming back for the spring game at Tennessee, and then I also hope to visit Ohio State for their spring game," he said. "I also want to see West Virginia, and I'm planning to get out to Oregon this summer. I'd also like to get to Michigan and Michigan State at some point."
