The Orange head to the Verizon Center to take on the Hoyas for the conference finale of their rivalry. Keep up with the match with CuseNation.com.

The Syracuse Orange and the Georgetown Hoyas began their rivalry on the hard court more than 80 years ago, back in 1930.

Most recently, Georgetown added another thorn into the side of their adversary by defeating Syracuse inside the Carrier Dome, resulting in the end of the longest active home-winning streak - 38 game - in NCAA Division I men's basketball.

That loss also began the unraveling of the Orange as they went on to lose two more games to follow before defeating the DePaul Blue Demons.

The Hoyas, at the same time, have gone 2-1, winning at home and splitting on the road, losing in their most recent match with the Villanova Wildcats in Philadelphia.

Syracuse looks to even the series and keep Georgetown on the losing end of things, while the Hoyas seek to press the thorn in further.
