Kyle Foster Leaves Program Recruiting Analyst
Posted Apr 5, 2013

Syracuse became thinner at the wide receiver position as Kyle Foster has left the football program, learned on Friday.

When a new coaching staff takes over a program, there are generally defections from the roster. Those had been minimal for the Syracuse Orange as they welcome in the Scott Shafer era. However, received notification that wide receiver Kyle Foster has left the program.

Sue Edson, Assistant Director of Athletics for Communication, stated that Kyle Foster has left the program. No further explanation was immediately given.

The departure leaves Syracuse without a receiver thought to be ready to contribute, especially with Alec Lemon and Marcus Sales graduating. The Orange still have strong numbers at the position, and Foster’s defection could mean an opportunity for youngsters Ben Lewis and Alvin Cornelius.

Syracuse continues their spring practice this week in preparation for the Spring Game on April 20th.
