The quarterback position is the biggest question mark for Syracuse heading into the 2013 season. But one reinforcement is on the way as former Oklahoma QB Drew Allen is transferring to the Orange.
Stuck behind other quarterbacks with the Sooners, Allen decided to transfer for a chance to play during his final season of eligibility. He took visits to a couple if schools, including Syracuse and North Carolina State.
He made his final decision on Friday, and decided Syracuse was the right fit. With the departure of Ryan Nassib, the starting quarterback position is wide open. Allen will battle Charley Loeb, Terrel Hunt, and John Kinder for the starting spot.
