Scott Shafer Speaks in First ACC Call
Scott Shafer - Syracuse Head Football Coach Publisher
Posted Apr 25, 2013

After seeing current members of the Orange squad on the field for the Spring, Shafer takes some time to offer what he thinks of the output of some players. He shares that and more, including his feelings on his father, who was also a coach, inside.

The Syracuse Orange are preparing to play in their first season against Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) opponents.

Scott Shafer is working to lead Syracuse's squad as their head coach for his first season at the helm.

With Spring practice finishing with the Spring game on April 20th, Shafer takes some time to look at what he has seen from the team, including what receivers have stood out to him.

The question of where wide receiver Quinta Funderburk is at has come up, and Shafer responds as far as what he wants the receiver to work on.

Syracuse's sideline leader also shares his thoughts on Ashton Broyld and on his father, who has had an effect on Shafer in how he approaches life on and off the field.
