Syracuse added another playmaker to their 2013 class as wide receiver Sean Avant gave his verbal commitment on Saturday.

Syracuse was not done with the 2013 class after all, as they added yet another prospect well after signing day. Miramar High School (FL) wide receiver Sean Avant gave his verbal commitment Saturday night.

The Orange staff has been looking to add another playmaker to their receiving group. Some thought ASA receiver Daniel Marc-Sears might be that guy. Instead, Avant pulled the trigger.

Avant is a 2-star prospect and rated the 200th receiver in the 2013 class. He chose Syracuse over offers from Wake Forest, West Virginia, Central Florida, Marshall, and others.
