The Orange have had recent success on the field. But it is also happening off the field as well. More inside.

The Syracuse Orange have worked to improve the environment around the football program recently. In two of the past three seasons, the Orange have advanced to the postseason. For each of those instances, Syracuse raised the trophy, winning in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl in 2010 and 2012.

But the success has not stopped on the field. Off the field, Ryan Nassib, James Jarrett, Carl Cutler, and Dan Vaughan became members of the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.

All four student-athletes achieved at least a 3.2 grade point average.

Along with the recent honorees, 12 other football alum were given the academic nod. Get more on the honorees HERE
