Three star safety Lamar Dawson

Several Syracuse targets could be making decisions within the next month. CuseNation.com breaks down the likelihood of each verbally committing to Syracuse with our commitment calculator inside.

Syracuse has some prospects high on their board that could be deciding soon. Some have specific announcement dates, some have general time frames. CuseNation.com breaks down the likelihood each will commit to Syracuse.

The scale is 1-star to 5-stars, with 5-stars being most likely the prospect will commit to Syracuse.

A summer visit could be key for three star LB Bennett

Parris Bennett – 3-stars: Bennett has visited Pittsburgh and came away liking what he saw, but didn't appear to be "wowed." He will visit Syracuse on June 22nd and will decide by the end of the month. The Orange will be making a strong push this month to add Bennett. Pitt seems to be the biggest threat, and a great visit to Syracuse should give the Orange the upper hand. But would Syracuse take Bennett, Franklin, Cabinda, and Moskal? It's possible.

Jason Cabinda – 4-stars: Zaire Franklin has been in Cabinda's ear since he committed. Cabinda has stated as much, and says it is having an impact. He will visit Syracuse, among others in his top three (Boston College, Maryland). Cabinda also has a strong relationship with the Orange coaches. When he decides on July 1st, Syracuse should be sitting in a very good position.

Micquell Cotton – 2-stars: Cotton also has a top three (Syracuse, Indiana, Michigan State), but seems to be favoring Indiana. He loved his visit there, and has a good relationship with their coaches. While they should be considered the favorite, Cotton wants to Syracuse sometime soon. That's where the Orange can make up ground. Ultimately, Cotton could end up with any of the schools in his top three and it wouldn't be a surprise.

Lamar Dawson – 3-stars: Dawson declared a top three shortly after Syracuse offered. However, he has still not set visit dates yet. There are questions surrounding Michigan State and whether that offer is committable. He has said he wants to decide by the end of June, and visits will be critical. Cincinnati is also involved. Consider Syracuse a slight favorite, but he has to get on campus for a visit.

Lubern Figaro – 2-stars: Figaro wants to decide sometime between mid-July and mid-August. He hasn't been to the Syracuse campus yet, but wants to visit before deciding. What other safeties do (Dawson, Cotton) could determine how involved Syracuse gets with Figaro. Boston College, Michigan State, and Vanderbilt are also involved.

Trey Klock – 1-star: Klock seems to have an interest in staying close to home. Rutgers would be the logical choice there, but Boston College is also making a strong push. The Eagles have some of their 2014 commits helping them recruit Klock. The 3-star tight end's visit to Georgia Tech could also factor in here. But the Syracuse staff seems to have moved on as they look towards other tight end prospects, such as Jamal Custis.

Colton Moskal – 4-stars: Zaire Franklin thinks Moskal is in the bag for Syracuse. He's been recruiting Moskal in addition to Cabinda, and believes it is working. Moskal is definitely very interested in the Orange. Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa are also very involved. He likely won't decide until the end of summer, but getting him back on campus will be important. That will show where his interest lies at this point in his recruitment.

Phillips will be visiting SU on Sunday

Ervin Phillips – 5-stars: Phillips has said "it's possible" he commits on his visit to the Syracuse campus this coming Sunday. The Syracuse staff has very high interest in Phillips and will likely make a commitment pitch during the visit. Syracuse should be considered a strong leader here.

K.J. Williams – 3-stars: The Williams situation has been full of mystery and intrigue. The latest is that A.J. Long thinks Williams is going to commit to Syracuse. However, that hasn't happened yet. Michigan is still involved, but is also looking at other receiver prospects. The Wolverines already have two commits at the position, and will likely only take one more. Syracuse is in a good position here, but when a final decision will be made is not yet known. Long and Jarrod West will continue to recruit Williams for the Orange.
