Syracuse started slow again, but pulled out a narrow win as they improved to 4-0 on the season.

It was another slow, sloppy start for Syracuse, but DaJuan Coleman was able to keep the Orange in it in the first half. As Syracuse struggled to find any offensive rhythm, Coleman crashed the offensive boards on his way to 12 first half points.

St. Francis capitalized, hitting some threes on the top of the zone to stay close. They came out with confidence to start the second half, taking an early lead off of strong play by Jalen Cannon and Anthony White. Cannon was a force inside and gave Syracuse problems all night.

The Terriers would maintain the lead throughout most of the second half, including some clutch three point shooting by Ben Mockford.

Trailing throughout the final minutes, Syracuse got some big defensive stop and huge buckets from Jerami Grant to pull out the narrow victory 56-50. will have much more from the Carrier Dome.
