Lyn to return for Texas Bowl? Publisher
Posted Dec 11, 2013

Senior cornerback Keon Lyn was thought to be lost for the season with an injury earlier in the year. However, he may be returning for Syracuse's bowl game in Houston.

When Syracuse faces Minnesota in the Texas Bowl on December 27th, they may have some secondary reinforcement. That is, a former starter returning from injury.

Earlier in the season, Keon Lyn was ruled "out for the year" with a lower body injury. But over the last couple of weeks, Lyn has been tweeting things that suggest he will be back.

He tweeted the following on December 2nd:

Then, on December 11th:

The bowl game was a reward for the seniors who have helped turn the Syracuse program around. When they arrived, Orange football was a national laughing stock. Now, it is a respectable program that has been bowling three of the last four years.

Lyn's reward for his blood, sweat and tears over his time in Central New York? Donning the Orange jersey one last time before looking towards an NFL career.
