Some post-game quotes from Syracuse's 65-60 at Boston College Saturday night:

“We’re big enough, and we’re definitely strong enough to rebound the ball…It’s disappointing to lose these games.” – Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim talking about the 45-31 rebounding advantage Boston College had against Syracuse. Syracuse has been outrebounded in all five of its losses.

“He’s always played very well against us. He has a great presence inside.” – Boeheim talking about BC junior forward Craig Smith, who scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.

“It all comes down to rebounds. If we make a couple stops and if we get these rebounds, we can push the lead up and just really take the game away.” – SU forward Hakim Warrick on Syracuse’s rebounding woes.

“If anything, it’s a compliment to us that they want to rush the floor on their home court.” – Warrick talking about the BC fans rushing the court, despite being favored at home and ranked higher than Syracuse.

“If we’re going to be a good team, that’s the kind of effort we need.” – Boston College coach Al Skinner on his team’s performance.

“When is walking away showing up an official?” – Coach Skinner referring to when BC guard Louis Hinnant was called for a foul and walked away from the official. He was then called for another foul later in the game, and then given a technical foul after laying on the ground and arguing the call. The technical foul was his fifth personal, and he left the game with more than 13 minutes remaining.
