A decision is Near

This mammoth tight end from the "Buckeye State" chimes in to let us know what he is looking for and if a commitment is on the horizon. Huffman plays at one of the most storied programs in the country Massillon Washington.

Brett Huffman (6'5", 230, 4.5) the tight end from Massillon Washington (Ohio.) checks in and lets us know about his summer thus far and if a commitment is near.

"I have offers from Akron, Syracuse, Duke, and Toledo."

So far Huffman has camped all over the country this summer; Syracuse, Arizona State, Toledo, Indiana, Illinois, Northwestern, Michigan State, and tomorrow he is going to Duke.

Huffman lists Arizona State, Duke, and Syracuse as his favorites.

Arizona State - "I have family in Tempe and I love it there, if they offered it would be very tough to say no."

Duke - "They are my #1 offer right now, they can't be beat academically. The new coach has things moving in the right direction; no matter what you will always have the degree from Duke though."

Syracuse - "I have concerns about the weather; it snows three times more there than it does here in Ohio. They have a great coaching staff and the NFL background is awesome. That's what separates them from the others."

"Syracuse is an interesting school in that the experience level for their coaches is unlike any other school. They have so many coaching years in the NFL and yet have some young coaches who have a lot of energy. I am not sure about the weather, but it's not as far from my home and would make a lot more sense than some of the other schools."

"I am just going to have to weigh the pros and cons before I make a decision; nothing has really jumped out at me yet."

"Syracuse and Duke are it for me unless Arizona State offers."

"I am contemplating an early decision but we will wait and see how I feel when I see all the schools."
